It’s amazing to witness the construction of a trade show, especially one of this magnitude. What looks like complete chaos is the exact opposite; a choreographed harmony of individual teams working together as one. And it all happens overnight. The crates, boxes and tools will all disappear and in its place will be carpeted hallways, and magnificent displays and a sea of people.

This is Bowers & Wilkins’ second year back on the floor at CES. We are using the same stand as last year with a few modifications to highlight this year’s current projects while still focusing on the core products that make us who we are today. We are excited to display the Panorama sound bar for the first time ever, as well as the 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio.

When pulling together all the pieces, the hardest parts are the ones you cannot control, and for us that is the delivery of the Jaguar. It’s the question of when will the car show up to the stand, how easily will we get it into place, etc. Last year’s XF prepared us for this year and the car was delivered and positioned with much ease. Phew.

As I left the show floor this afternoon, it was still frantic however I know as soon as I enter the hall tomorrow morning everything will be perfect and those who worked so hard constructing the event will fade into the shadows until time for tear-down.
