The Wall Street Journal has posted a great article on analogue high-end stereo and the fans that are keeping it alive: The home stereos that refuse to die.

Vinyl’s small but significant comeback, which we wrote about here together with the explosion in deluxe boxsets (sales rose 100% last year) reinforce the idea that music lovers are willing to spend, as long as what they are spending their money on is high quality.
