What Hi-Fi give MM-1s 5 star review

What Hi-Fi have awarded our first ever computer speakers a 5* review proclaiming they are “the best PC speakers we’ve heard”.  You can read the full review here.

  • Visanj says:

Yet to listen to the speakers but not sure if the data in b&w website is correct. In the website the low end response in frequency range says 38hz but in all other websites its 57hz. Not sure which one is right? any idea on this?

  • Matt Williams says:

I just downloaded a bunch of test tones from realtrap.com and I can quite definitely hear a 38hz and maybe a 37hz tone coming out of my new MM-1’s.

I thought there were some laws of science that mean that such a small enclosure can’t create such deep bass notes, but clearly for B&W these more in the form of a suggestion or recommendation, rather than actual laws.
