Achieving the perfect in-car sound quality

Bowers & Wilkins and Jaguar engineers spent four years developing the system for the XJ and to underline just how hard a task it was, we were allowed to dictate some of the XJ’s interior design in order to get our speakers in the correct position.

Autocar have interviewed Stuart Nevill, our principal research engineer on how to achieve the perfect in-car sound quality. You can read the full interview here.

    Many cars do not provide the same kind of sound quality! The good quality sound depends upon the surround sound quality. Very few car speakers are successful in providing surround quality sound effects.
