SCHOOL OF NOISE – a series of workshops

School of Noise

A series of special evening workshops presented in association with Bowers and Wilkins, The Social and of course The School of Noise starts upstairs at The Social on the 29th June.

Running after work on the last Monday of the month, The School of Noise nights aim to encourage the exploration of noise, sound and music in a creative, educational and inspirational environment.

Run by a collective of musicians, sound artists and noise enthusiasts these evenings will consist of five tables full of analogue and digital equipment, including Bowers & Wilkins headphones which anyone can come and play on.

Together the room will create a piece of experimental electronic music with everyone being both performer and audience member. There will be plenty of people on hand to help out and teach people how to use the drum machines, use effects, program and code and sculpt sounds on analogue synths plus plus the bar will be open and serving!

Due to popular demand, there are two sessions to choose from:

Session 1: 6pm-8pm
Session 2: 8.30pm-10.30pm.

The second session may go on a little longer and is good choice for those who may want to hang out after in the bar and chat.

£6 advance tickets

Session 1: 6pm-8pm
Session 2: 8.30pm-11pm
