In the fourth of our exclusive series of video tours around the Bowers & Wilkins UK factory, we look at the amazing amount of effort that goes into finishing our 800 Series Diamond loudspeakers. These exclusive video provide customers and members of the public with a rarely seen insight into the attention to detail, advanced technology ad craftsmanship that are combined to produce the world’s best loudspeakers.
Introduced by Product Manager Mike Gough, this exclusive video looks at the lengths Bowers & Wilkins goes to in order to ensure it’s loudspeakers are finished to the luxurious levels of quality expected from our discerning customers.
Applying the paint is only part of the job to creating the luxurious finish on our high-end loudspeakers. A large number of man hours go into ensuring that the finish is pristine for every single speaker that leaves the factory. An experienced team of craftsmen and women spend many hours buffing and polishing the individual loudspeakers, and this part of the Worthing operation has expanded dramatically thanks to the unprecedented popularity of the more time-consuming piano black finish.
And if you missed any of our other videos, you can watch the 800 Series Diamond head unit video here and the cabinet manufacturing video here.
