Behind the scenes of the 800 Diamond series speaker film

Filming the making of an 800 Series Diamond speaker at Bowers & Wilkins factory in Worthing.

Last Christmas we set out to film the extraordinary and time-consuming process of creating an 800 Series Diamond speaker. It took three long days of shooting to make sure every stage was captured. These images were taken during the shoot.

“Capturing the creation of an 800 Series loudspeaker is something we have wanted to do for a long time. Whenever people tour our UK factory the thing that always comes across in their comments is how impressed they are by the attention to detail and craftsmanship that is mixed with up to the minute production techniques and technology – and many of these are hardened press, who have seen a fair few production lines in their time! We wanted to share as much of that experience as possible as very few people get the chance to tour the factory.”

I enjoyed the video on the making of a classic speaker. It’s not often a company as well known as yours would allow the world to see what goes on into making a very fine piece of listening pleasure. Thank you and please continue the outstanding work your company has done to make a gentlemen like me drool and other companies sad. Ha,ha,ha,ha. Have a great day. Lafonte.
