The Zeppelin Air dominates Bowers & Wilkins’ stand at CES 2011, both in terms of space and buzz amongst visitors. Several of the sleek speaker systems are set up in order to let attendees get a closer look, and one is even paired with an iPad, giving them the chance to have a play around with the Zeppelin Air’s wireless audio streaming function.
Also on show is the Zeppelin Mini, MM-1 and P5, as well as a wide selection of Bowers & Wilkins speakers. If you happen to be in Vegas and can tear yourself away from the blackjack tables long enough to pay us a visit, come down and take a look for yourself.

Just curious, if I used the cable supplied with the iPod, with a USB plug at one end, and inserted it into the MM-1 speakers, would it also bypass the iPod DAC, like it does the computer’s DAC, and allow me to use the MM-1′s DAC and DSP hooked up this way? In other words, bypass the iPod DAC using the iPod’s USB connect cable?
Thanks,

Hi David,
I’m sorry but this method will not work as there is not the specific hardware/software associated with PC’s/Mac’s to communicate with the MM-1′s.
Kind regards
