Bowers & Wilkins wins seven What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision awards

Two Products of the Year and five category winners

MM-1 wins Digital Media Players & Accessories Product of the Year. MT-25 wins Speaker Package Product of the Year. Zeppelin Mini awarded best iPod® Dock £150-£300. PV1 subwoofer wins for an amazing seventh year. MT-30, 685 Home Theatre and ASW610 also win again.

Bowers & Wilkins is delighted to announce it won seven times at the prestigious What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision Awards 2010. The five category winners and two Products of the Year award demonstrates Bowers & Wilkins’ commitment to high-quality new technologies, especially in the area of iPod and Computer speakers. But it also attests to Bowers & Wilkins’ commitment to the loudspeaker market as a whole. The amazing number of repeat winners points to the value Bowers & Wilkins products offer over a lifetime of listening.

Heading up the awards is the MM-1 computer speaker. This compact, active near-field monitor is set to do for computers what Zeppelin did for iPods three years ago, and redefine the sound quality customers can expect. As Product of the Year in the new Digital Media Players & Accessories category, the MM-1 sets the standard for the enjoyment of digital media.

In 2009 the MT-25 won Product of the Year in the Style Speaker Packages category. This year it went one better, winning Product of the Year in a newly combined Speaker Packages category, where it was competing against full-size speaker systems as well as style systems.

The MT-30 system was also a repeat winner. Featuring the same M-1 satellites, this time with the legendary PV1 subwoofer, it won Best Style Speaker Package £1500-£2000. In the same category, the 685 Home Theatre system won Best Traditional Package £1000-£1500 for the third year in succession.

The Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin Mini took the award the award for best iPod Dock £150-£300. This compact alternative to the full-size Zeppelin, offers amazing sound and features, in a system that’s perfectly suited for smaller spaces.

Finally, Bowers & Wilkins dominated the subwoofer category yet again, winning both available awards with the ASW610 and the PV1. The latter winning a What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision award for an incredible seventh year running!
