On November 7th (in the UK, 15th in the US), Sigur Ros will release the much talked about Inni, a concert film and live album.
Director Vincent Morisset, the the man behind Arcade Fire’s own concert film, Mirror Noir, was responsible for the highly-stylised film which features the band’s performance at London’s Alexandra Palace in 2008.
As well as the live album, the limited special edition features: 7″ coloured vinyl, blu-ray version, dvd version, ‘klippa’ on dvd, 4 photographic prints, instant download of ‘e-bow’ mp3 and not least, an enamel badge.
It also includes a 10 pieces of light-sensitive paper “in a black opaque envleope” with instructions and a special url allowing fans to to post their home-made images to the band’s site.
Inni will open Reyjavik film festival tonight. You can preorder the album from the band’s website.
