Peter Gabriel adds 2009 dates + wins Grammy

Peter Gabriel has added more dates to his South American and Mexican tour in March – you can see a full list of dates so far here.

Narrowly pipped at the post for the Best Song Oscar by Slumdog Millionaire, Peter did win a Grammy for Best Song with Down To Earth and Best Instrumental Arrangement from the Wall-E soundtrack.

Composed with Thomas Newman, Down To Earth was also nominated for a Golden Globe.

    I completely think that ‘down to earth’ should have won the oscar, it is a truly breathtaking song and when you think of all the work that must have gone into making it sound that amazing it really blows your mind. Jai ho is not as cool at all :(
