Exclusive live Dengue Fever event

real world studios

We were very lucky to be able to attend an invitation-only evening at Real World Studios last week along with some Society of Sound members who had won invites.

After drinks in the wooden studio, Peter Gabriel introduced the extraordinary West Coast psychedelic/Cambodian pop hybrid that is Dengue Fever in the glass fronted large studio.

The sound was exactly as it should have been – loud but really warm and clear. The event was recorded (and filmed in 3D!) and we’re hoping some of the material will end up on their B&W Music Club album due early next year.

We’ll be offering more chances to attend events and live concerts to Society of Sound members throughout next year.

Great evening, really enjoyed ourselves – chilled out atmosphere, great food, band were awesome and the sound was just right.

We were at the front and found it quite surreal to have Peter Gabriel within arms length.

cheer's B&W, ill be entering the next competition for sure!!

(the free dvd was good too)

It was a fantastic night, thanks – really nice people, too; we saw them just the week before in Salisbury, so in the few days in between I managed to catch up on a few of their influences (Ros Sereysothea, Mulatu Astatke, etc) thanks to recommendations from Zac. Once again, thanks to all at B&W.

Thanks B&W for the opportunity to visit Real World Studios. It was a superb evening, the location, the band and the acoustics created an experience never to be forgotten. Wonderful, thanks again.

Totally agree with previous comments. It was wonderful. Dengue Fever music was great, I couldn't imagine that one day I will see them in Real World Studios in the presence of Peter Gabriel!!!
    Thanks B&W
I already commented the event in Real World Remixed forums
