John Bowers: A Lasting Legacy

Bowers & Wilkins is 50 years old in 2016. As part of the celebrations of these five decades in the world of high-performance audio, we are running a series of blogs that investigate our history, our people, our technologies and our products. This short film investigates the legacy of our founder – John Bowers.

In 1966 John Bowers wanted better loudspeakers. 50 years on the company he founded has grown beyond his wildest dreams. However, his influence is still felt in may areas of Bowers & Wilkins, as this short film explains.
