Charlie Winston producer interviewed about new album

Society of Sound members will be able to download an exclusive version of Charlie Winston’s new album, Running Still, next week. In this short film, producer Tony Berg (Peter Gabriel, Weezer, Aimee Mann) discusses Charlie’s uninhibited style of songwriting:

“What I like so much about him is that he approaches song writing in a very pure state. He doesn’t write with the thought of to whom might this appeal or what might people think of this. It’s real personal expression.”

After watching this video of Tony Berg BTW… who is one of the few in the music industry with an exceptional level of taste and integrity …chat about the evolution of this artist and his work,I’m once again reminded of his ability to harness what is great about an artist from many sides of the recording glass.I’m compelled to check this album out.!!!!-Thank you!
